A36 CARBON STEEL PLATE

A36 is a low carbon steel that contains trace amounts of other elements such as manganese, phosphorus, sulfur, silicon and copper. A36 has good welding properties and high yield strength and is a structural steel plate specified by engineers. ASTM A36 steel plates are often manufactured into various structural steel parts. This grade is used for welded, bolted or riveted structures in bridges and buildings, as well as general structural purposes. Due to its low yield point, A36 carbon plate can be used to design lighter structures and equipment and provides good weldability. Construction, energy, heavy equipment, transportation, infrastructure and mining are industries that often use A36 plates.

Applied to bolted, riveted or welded structures in bridges, buildings and oil rigs, etc.

It can also be used to form storage tanks, silos, bearing plates, clamps, rings, templates, fixtures, sprockets, cams, gears, base plates, forgings, decorative works, piles, brackets, automotive and agricultural equipment, frames, machinery parts, etc.
