316 STAINLESS STEEL PLATE

Due to the addition of alloying element molybdenum, its corrosion resistance, atmospheric corrosion resistance and high temperature strength are particularly good. It can be used in harsh environments. It has excellent work hardening performance and good high temperature strength. The solid solution state of the product is non-magnetic. In addition, its cold-rolled sheet has a good appearance gloss, but its price is higher than that of 304 stainless steel. It is mainly used to manufacture equipment in seawater or highly corrosive environments.

The chemical composition of 316 stainless steel plate is mainly ≤0.035% phosphorus, ≤0.03% sulfur, 10.0-14.0% nickel, 16.0-18.5% chromium, and 2.0-3.0% molybdenum. Its performance is also very good, with tensile strength (Mpa) 620 MIN, yield strength (Mpa) 310 MIN, elongation (%) 30 MIN, area reduction (%) 40 MIN, and density is 8.03 g/cm3.

Application: Equipment for use in seawater, production equipment for chemicals, dyes, papermaking, oxalic acid, fertilizers, etc.; photography, food industry, coastal facilities, ropes, CD rods, bolts, nuts.
